Organization Development (OD) is a professional  discipline that focuses on achieving organizational excellence by advancing and aligning organizational strategy, culture, people, systems, processes, and expanding  the leadership landscape and member competence. It is a systematic process and methodology that anticipates and responds to change and the members affected by that change. OD is premised on the belief that organizational success and individual employee success be mutually valued and addressed.  Talent management and performance management are subsets of OD, and talent development is a further subset of talent management.
